As Head of Programmatic & Data at Spotify, Dan is responsible for all aspects of revenue generation in the programmatic advertising field, and maintaining relationships across agencies, agency trading desks and technology partners.
Dan is a media, data and technology specialist with a background in direct response digital marketing. Before joining the band Dan held a number of highly successful roles at media agencies including most recently Head of Interactive at OMD in Sydney where, most notably, Dan was responsible for the development of Telstra’s programmatic trading platform – a world first, and highly awarded model – and roles at Carat in the UK previous to that.
Originally from the UK, Dan has lived in Sydney for five years. He is passionate about technology and data-driven marketing and the opportunities technology afford to drive efficiency and efficacy in media. Outside of work he is learning all that comes with being a new father and loves golf, travel, food and food-based travel.
