Bernard has spent the last five years leveraging data assets to drive competitive advantage for omni-channel retailers through business insight, customer and loyalty strategy, CRM and digital and media commercialisation. At Myer, Bernard is responsible for the MYER one loyalty program and Myer data as well as establishing the Myer Market. Previously Bernard was the General Manager of Customer Data Analytics, Media & Commercialisation at Woolworths, where he focused on Woolworths’ customer data assets to drive competitive advantage, primarily via a personalised member experience for Woolworths Rewards members. Prior to joining Woolworths was as Senior Executive in Strategy & Corporate Development at Lion Nathan – Australia & NZ’s Largest FMCG Company – where he led the delivery of strategic initiatives as well as innovation projects. Prior to this Bernard held other senior positions including Vice President in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse, covering telecommunications, media and technology.
